AISG Transceivers w/ Tunable Dynamic Range and Multiple Carriers

The NXP ASC3011 and ASC3012 AISG transceiver products are highly integrated DSP based AISG modems with software programmable parameters that can be used on tower mounted devices or base-stations. These devices are optimized for a very low external component count. The receiver sensitivity and transmitter output power have a high dynamic range, preprogrammed to conform to the AISG standard or tunable to higher levels according to application requirements.

Ultra Low-voltage Translating 24-bit General Purpose I/O Expander

PCAL6524 is a 24-bit general purpose I/O expander that provides remote I/O expansion for most microcontroller families via the Fast-mode Plus (Fm+) I2C-bus interface. The ultra low-voltage interface allows for direct connection to a microcontroller operating down to 0.8 V.

The PCAL6524 fully meets the Fm+ I2C-bus specification at speeds to 1 MHz and implements Agile I/O, which are additional features specifically designed to enhance the I/O. These additional features are: programmable output drive strength, latchable inputs, programmable pull-up/pull-down resistors, maskable interrupt, interrupt status register, programmable open-drain or push-pull outputs.

SD/SDIO/MMC/CE-ATA Host Controller

NXP’s SDIO101A is an SD/SDIO/MMC/CE-ATA host controller with a standard 16-bit asynchronous memory interface and conforms to the SD Host Standard Specification Version 2.0. The device manages the physical layer of SD, SDIO, MMC and CE-ATA protocols and can be used together with SD Host Standard compatible driver software to add SD/SDIO/MMC/CE-ATA host functionality to a variety of microprocessor systems. SDIO101A supports both full-speed (< 25 MHz) and high-speed (< 52 MHz) data transmissions on the SD/SDIO/MMC/CE-ATA port. With built-in 2 kB data buffer allowing low interrupt latency time and efficient communication with the host processor at high data rates.

24-channel Fm+ I²C-bus Constant Current LED Driver

The PCA9956B is an I2C-bus controlled 24-channel constant current LED driver optimized for dimming and blinking 57 mA Red/Green/Blue/Amber (RGBA) LEDs in amusement products. Each LED output has its own 8-bit resolution (256 steps) fixed frequency individual PWM controller that operates at 31.25 kHz with a duty cycle that is adjustable from 0 % to 99.6 % to allow the LED to be set to a specific brightness value. This device has built-in open, short load and overtemperature detection circuitry. PCA9956B also has a Fast-mode Plus (Fm+) I2C-bus interface that offers higher frequency (up to 1 MHz) or more densely populated bus operation (up to 4000 pF).
